The Morgana AutoCreaser Pro XW is the latest addition to Morgana’s range of high-speed creasers, specifically designed to eliminate cracking issues that often occur when folding digitally printed materials. It is equally effective for creasing conventionally printed card, laminated stock, or cross-grained paper, ensuring a flawless finish on a variety of substrates. Featuring an intuitive 7” SmartScreen, the AutoCreaser Pro XW offers effortless operation.
Users simply enter the sheet length, select a fold type (such as letter or gatefold), and press start. The machine automatically calculates the precise crease positions and sets them accordingly. If minor adjustments are required, users can easily fine-tune the crease position using the on-screen controls.
With an alpha-numeric memory system, the AutoCreaser Pro XW allows for unlimited job storage, making job recall seamless. Users can save jobs under custom names and numbers, simplifying workflow management and repeat orders. The machine delivers impressive performance, running at speeds of up to 8,500 A4 sheets per hour (with one crease) and 11,000 A5 sheets per hour. It supports a maximum sheet size of 700 x 500mm and a paper thickness of up to 0.4mm, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of print applications.
It can apply up to 16 creases per sheet, with a minimum crease distance of just 0.1mm and a leading edge crease distance as close as 2.5mm. The AutoCreaser Pro XW comes with standard linear perforation capabilities, with an optional upgrade for full cross and part perforation up to 500mm wide. This feature is ideal for producing tear-off vouchers, tickets, and other perforated applications.
