If you do not have a maintenance agreement, remote support may be a practical way to get help with a machine without arranging an onsite visit.
An experienced Postroom-online technician can help with diagnosing machine problems, operator questions, training and basic operator maintenance. Support is available by telephone or video call. WhatsApp is usually the quickest way to set up a video call, although we can also use Teams or Zoom.
Remote support costs £60 + VAT per hour, rounded up to the next 15-minute block:
- Up to 15 minutes: £15 + VAT
- 16–30 minutes: £30 + VAT
- 31–45 minutes: £45 + VAT
- 46–60 minutes: £60 + VAT
If you decide to go ahead, you can purchase the first 15 minutes here. Any additional time can be invoiced afterwards.
If the call shows that a back-to-base repair or onsite visit is needed, we will not charge for up to 15 minutes of remote support relating to that issue.
Remote support can be useful for minor issues and for customers in locations where an onsite visit is difficult to arrange. Some problems will still need a technician to inspect or repair the machine.
Maintenance agreement customers: Please contact our Service Department instead. Postroom-online print finishing maintenance customers do not pay separately for routine maintenance, support, callouts, training or operator errors. They may also have access to our first-time repair or loan machine guarantee
